I worked at Dish Network for ten years and had hands-on involvement with countless projects. The biggest and most important one was the Dish Anywhere initiative. My team and I were tasked to develop a website, mobile app, and set-top box app that would all work harmoniously with each other to provide a cohesive user experience. Additionally, they needed to share the same react native codebase. This project spent several years in development and had a very successful launch. At the time the app had over a million downloads (4.5 stars) and the user interface was deployed to all Dish customers with a set-top box successfully.
